“If the 49ers Score 0, My Customers Pay 0.”Saxon’s Diamond Centers to Refund Up to $5,000 on Every Purchase Made in Their Bel Air or Aberdeen Store from Jan. 26 – Feb. 2, 2013, ravens_logo.BALTIMORE, Maryland, January 24, 2013 — One Baltimore area jeweler is the ultimate Raven’s fan, so much so they are putting their jewelry where their mouth is. Kevin Ferrell, President of Saxon’s Diamond Centers, and his partner Lance Hersh believe the Ravens can win this year’s Super Bowl, and win it big. Saxon’s Diamond Centers promises a refund, up to $5,000, to everyone who patronizes their two locations from Saturday, January 26 – February 2, 2013, if the 49ers come up scoreless in Sunday’s game.

“It’s an exciting time,” Ferrell explains. “Everyone around here supports the Ravens and nothing would please me more than to see San Francisco go down and go down big.” And, he’s willing to back it up. No matter how much is spent in their stores over the seven-day period from January 26 through February 2, 2013, the jeweler will give back up to $5,000 on each purchase . . . “with an ear-to-ear grin! It’s really quite simple. If the 49ers score zero, my customers pay zero, depending on how much they initially spent,” added Hersh.

The payoff could be substantial. Just one day’s receipts could total five digits. “If I were someone who was thinking about buying jewelry for Valentine’s Day or getting engaged,” Ferrell admits, “I would have nothing to lose by shopping here. I could get my gift, and perhaps my money back too.” If the Ravens prevail Sunday, couples buying an engagement ring from Saxons Diamond Centers during the promotional period will have a great story to tell their children one day. “Not to mention, a great deal of cash to put back in their wallet,” Hersh adds.

Giving the money back would be no hardship for the retailer. The store has bought insurance to cover the payoff, up to $5,000 per purchase, should the 49ers be shut out. “So we all win,” the owners conclude. “Except San Francisco of course.” Which, for Kevin Ferrell and his partner Lance Hersh, is the ultimate payoff.
